The larch comes from nearby forests and is left to season for six years before being worked.
This is the wood that shapes the exterior of Edelweiss Dolomites: a new house, warm and natural. Inside the apartments, aged spruce and Swiss stone pine define the rooms, complemented by carefully chosen fabrics.

The village begins on your doorstep
Open the door and you are already in the pedestrian heart of San Cassiano. The bakery, supermarket, restaurant and café-patisserie are all within easy walking distance. No cars pass in front of the house and, once you have arrived, your car can simply stay in the garage. The Piz Sorega lifts are also close by, around ten minutes on foot. Here, your holiday can begin without having to think about the car again.

There are only a few self-contained apartments, with refined interiors and fully equipped kitchens – from a cosy apartment for two to a split-level apartment ideal for families.

One floor down, the silence.
After a day on the slopes, the trails or the bike, simply head one floor down. The sauna, steam bath, hot tub and relaxation area are all within the house and reserved exclusively for guests of Edelweiss Dolomites. Down here, the village fades away. Only warmth and quiet remain.

04 · San Cassiano and Alta Badia
Outside, the Dolomites
In winter, San Cassiano is an ideal starting point for skiing in Alta Badia and accessing the Dolomiti Superski area. In summer, the slopes give way to hiking trails, mountain tours and days on the bike. The seasons change, but the starting point stays the same: Edelweiss Dolomites is in the heart of San Cassiano, surrounded by the Dolomites. Skis and bikes have their own dedicated space. All you need to decide is how to spend the day.
